Fashion Photography Mentoring

let’s have a chat

When we were getting started, we really wished we could just have a chat with a photographer who was a few steps further in their career. Someone who would simply answer all of the questions we had about making our way in this industry. We felt like our difficult problems probably had easy answers – it turns out they do.

We want to be that photographer for you.

We would love to help you wherever you’re at in your photography. In your mentoring call with us, we welcome any and every question you may have about your fashion career. Whether you’re just getting started and want to know about setting up shoots, or if you’ve been shooting for a few years and want to start making some money, or if you just need some help figuring out how to improve your work – we’ll be there for you.

We’re an open book – well two open books.

some things we can help you with:

setting up your first shoot

improving your portfolio website

working with models and agencies

moving from weddings to editorial

planning your own editorials + getting them featured

shooting/scanning film

building a client base

any other questions you may have!

Feedback:

“Thank you both so much for taking the time to speak with me yesterday! You two were both so open, clear, and created a space that made me feel super encouraged and excited about my future in photography. I look up to both of you and your work a great deal, so to be able to speak candidly about your path meant the world to me.

I woke up today with so much clarity and energy to move forward, and I can’t wait to keep you guys updated on my projects.”

Chloe Jones

“I just wanted to send you a note to tell you I took a lot of what we talked about into consideration for my last shoot and it was great. I let the shoot dictate what happened instead of perfecting everything before we even shot. I limited my time with all the looks. I got in-the-moment quality images even though I wasn’t prepared how I would have originally wanted to be.

I let go and was just creating and our mentor session basically gave me the freedom to do that with confidence  and know it’s going to be okay.”

Gene Pease

“So appreciated the time that we spent together today and would absolutely recommend a mentor session with you to anyone feeling stuck or wanting to maximize the first few years. You two answered all my questions about how to move forward in my editorial career with such helpful advice on how to reach out to others and what to say in emails. Thank you for being so open about freelance life and what it’s like to make a living doing this thing! Hope our paths cross again soon!”
